The Yoga Hub has always had community and a sense of fun at the centre of its activities. We like to show our students that yoga can offer us10168134_624037841022841_798537159237573051_n new experiences both on and off the mat.

This retreat is aimed at people who enjoy trying new things and like to expand their comfort zone. Our main aim is to have fun in beautiful surroundings. Our days will be full of activity, with two yoga classes and surf lessons, although you are free to opt out should you prefer some down time.

Regular or new students to the Yogahub, beginner to intermediate level yogis, people who might want to travel alone or with a friend but join a group atmosphere with others who are like-minded. Screen shot 2014-05-28 at 00.27.08

If you would love to come but don’t want to surf that´s no problem, let us know and we can adjust your booking.

Our morning class will focus on getting us warmed up for the day in a vinyasa flow style. Our evening class will help us to release the muscles that we strengthen in the water, workshop some favourite poses, and help us wind down for a peaceful evening. Our yoga classes will compliment our surf sessions as well as allow a deeper exploration of your yoga practice. For an idea of the kind of yoga we’ll be doing you can check out our little taster video coming soon.

This retreat will be about having fun! Letting go of stress and of inhibitions, meeting new people, seeing new places and having a holiday that leaves you with a smile on your face, spring in your step, and sand in your hair.

If you have already been practicing yoga for a long time, you might have forgetten that gem often referred to in zen buddhism as Shoshin or beginners mind. Trying a new sport like surfing will remind you of what its like to start something from scratch, free of expectations and open to possibility, full of excitement at little steps of progress.K7QJtzwjda6uZ3Km_GDLrbbMhhFPzeVCJx4P6PNER0I

We are excited to offer an experience tailored to the yoga hub students and of course any yogis who would like to join in the fun. It will be the perfect week to stretch your body and mind, and soak up some september sun to keep you going through winter.

For any queries or questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I started YogaHub out of a room at the back of someone else's house back in 2012 with nothing more than an idea. I'd been teaching Yoga since 2008 and had no intention of opening a Yoga Studio. I think, like everything I've done, I just decided one day I was going to give it a try. And try I did and if you're reading this I guess I'm still trying.
