What is Kundalini?

First thing to understand is that there are several types of yoga. Some are completely physical, some are all about meditation. Kundalini is somewhere in the middle. But with an added emphasis on consciousness that activates energy centers throughout the body. To read more about Kundalini, check out an interview with YogaHub teacher Emer here, or check out AnnaB’s blog about it here.

And what is a Mantra?

A “mantra” is a sacred utterance, a numinous sound, a syllable, word or group of words believed by practitioners to have psychological and spiritual powers Mantra meditation helps to induce an altered state of consciousness.

And finally, a Kundalini Mantra?

Kundalini Mantras are typically in Gurmukhi, a sacred Indian language, and occasionally, in English. These mantras contain the vibrations of peace, prosperity, connection, and many other qualities and are understood by their impact, even if the meaning of each word is not known.

Below is a list of Kundalini mantras for your everyday needs. It is amazing to chant them, sing them or even just to listen to them in the background. I have linked YouTube videos of these mantras so you can listen yourself.
